Library

We have a small library in our meeting house with a variety of books relating to Quakerism and other topics of interest to Friends. It is open to all members and attenders.

From time to time our Library Committee will post short reviews of books which may be of interest.

Visioning New Fire, working for Quaker Renewal, describes the work of key contemporary Quaker renewal movements in the UK. These clearly written, exciting and challenging talks and output from workshops come from the Britain Yearly Meeting Kindlers’ conference in 2013.  Like several of the booklets in the Kindlers’ series, the questions raised are as interesting as the options examined: the one that struck  me the most from this book was “What are we Quakers uniquely called to be, to do, to minister as individuals and Meetings?” 68 pages with a cd.
