Dublin Monthly Meeting has representatives on the Dublin Council of Churches (DCC).
One of the key public activities of the DCC is the annual ‘Walk of Light’.
This year, this will take place on Sunday 23rd November, 4pm-6.30pm.
This involves walking between three churches of different denominations, with everyone carrying a tea-light in a jam-jar. In each host church, there in a short act of worship in the style of the congregation visited.
Everyone is most welcome to join in for all or part of the afternoon, as follows:
Meet at 4pm at St.Mary’s Church, Haddington Road
Leaving at 4.30 for St. Bartholomew’s Church, Clyde Road, to arrive at 5pm.
Leaving there at 5.30 to walk to Dublin Korean Church at Centenary Church, Leeson Park; arriving there at 6pm.
After the concluding prayer there will be light refreshments at 6.30pm.
