A gathering of Friends in Dublin – Sunday, November 15th

‘Old and New Friends sharing and learning Together’

Friends and attenders, those still seeking where love and truth abide, are invited to a gathering of Dublin Preparative Meetings in Quaker House on Sunday 15th November 2015.

(Gather from 2.15pm for prompt start at 2.30pm. Closing meal together at 6.30)

The afternoon will be an opportunity to ask about, share and discuss what we think we are doing when we gather together in our various, and often peculiar, Quaker ways.

Three speakers will present briefly on the testimonies and on discernment, both individual and corporate. The main purpose however will be for Dublin Friends, old, new and in the wings, to grow together; to meet, to engage meaningfully with each other and to reacquaint ourselves with our roots and our purpose.

We will share a meal, a pot-luck supper, at six thirty. Please bring an open heart, an enquiring mind and a dish to share. We never know where the Spirit might lead us.

We hope each Dublin Meeting will actively encourage and support this initiative to nurture each other.

A time to sow. Ecclesiastes 3:2
