Meister Eckhart (1260-1328) was one of the most brilliant Christian scholars of his day. His written wisdom addresses issues of today – women’s role in spirituality and church life, global climate change and the need for a deeper encounter among world religions. This presentation by Richard Woods will address the relevance of Meister Eckhart’s writings to contemporary issues. It takes place at the Lantern Centre, Synge St, Dublin 8 on August 8th at 19:30.
