The Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) Ireland offers conflict resolution skills to help people create healthy relationships and a peaceful community. It runs intensive workshops in prisons and in the community on different ways of dealing with violence. It is an experimental programme helping people change their lives and is based on the belief that there is a power for peace and good in everyone and that this power has the ability to transform violence.
The monthly meetings of the working group of AVP are held in Quaker Meeting House 4/5 Eustace Street, Dublin 2 at 7.30 pm on the second Thursday of each month.
