Unveiling event at Rathangan Friends Burial Ground
Saturday 12th November at 2.00 pm
Rathangan Tidy Towns committee have not only cleared the over-grown and long-unused burial ground but have commissioned wall plaques with the names of the Friends buried there. These tablets of stone will be unveiled at a ceremony beginning in the Burial Ground and followed by tea in the Community Centre. All – particularly Friends – are welcome.
Rathangan is 6 miles NW of Kildare Town. The Burial Ground is at the south-east corner of the village where the R414 takes a sharp left turn towards the north.
